Calm, clarity and materiality were resolutely chosen in this house. No busy accents but an interior that breathes thanks to the consistent use of Thalostuc and Monolith in the soft shade Watamu White. The approach is understated but thoughtful in every detail.
The walls and ceiling of the living space and kitchen are finished with Thalostuc Origin. This soft texture, which brings just enough nuance without being intrusive, allows light to play naturally across the surfaces. Thalostuc was also used in the dressing room, creating a clear line running through the house. The continuity in material choice enhances the sense of space and allows each piece of furniture to be fully appreciated.
The bathroom walls were given a finish in Monolith Smooth, also in Watamu White. The choice of this material quietly lifts the room to a higher level: water-resistant, easy to maintain and visually seamless. The combination of the cylindrical washbasin, the rounded mirrors and the soft wall structure gives the bathroom a pared-down character without becoming distant.
Thalostuc was also used in the hall, bedroom and home office. The whole feels coherent but not monotonous. Each space is given its own rhythm and atmosphere, while the materials provide the underlying connection. This home is an example of how thoughtful finishing with natural, refined products can transform an interior into a place where everything is right.
