A Partner Who Thinks in Materials
Michelsens has worked since 2014 in interior architecture and projects, product design and furniture making. Their starting point is simple: when the main furniture and the basic building blocks of an interior share the same wood and the same surface treatment, a room gains calm and coherence. Over ten years of projects, interior doors and surface products have played a central part in that idea. Today they form the core of Michelsens' collection, M.door and Odilon Creations.
One Material, Many Surfaces
This way of thinking fits Odilon well. Our finishes are applied by hand by passionate craftspeople, and they can be used on floors, walls, in bathrooms and on other surfaces such as doors, countertops, and kitchen and wardrobe fronts. One material can run through a whole interior, with continuous transitions from one surface to the next. For architects and interior designers, that means more freedom in the design.

Michelsens' studio is located at Myrens Verksted in Torshov, Oslo. Together with Next Level Design, they turned a former restaurant space into an inspiring interior studio. It is the place to see our finishes up close, to talk through a project in an informal conversation, or to ask for samples.
