This is where we translate architectural intent into custom decorative finishes that catch just the right vibe. When our existing mineral palettes, micro finishes or seamless resin systems don't fully answer your question, we develop a surface that does.
Each project begins with observation. We study light, surrounding materials, proportions and the atmosphere of a space before we begin refining colour and texture.

Custom Colour Development
Colour within architecture is rarely isolated. It interacts with stone, wood, textiles and light. Within Atelier d'O, we develop bespoke mineral colours that respond precisely to those surrounding elements. When a project calls for a specific nuance, we produce references such as the grain of a natural-stone slab, the depth of a woven textile, the undertone within a metal finish or the layered pigmentation of a façade material.
Custom Texture Development
Texture is built, not applied. Within Atelier d'O, we adjust trowel technique, particle size and application rhythm until a surface has the exact grain, relief or movement a project calls for, from a near-flat mineral skin to a deeply worked, sculptural finish.
