House of Textures Opens
in Zwevegem
House of Textures has officially opened in Zwevegem, Belgium. It is the new creative headquarters of Odilon Creations and Liquidfloors, and it was designed as a meeting place where architects, designers and craftspeople come together around materials, innovation and sensory experience.
An Evening with Tom Dixon
The opening evening welcomed Tom Dixon, an internationally renowned designer with a unique vision on the use of materials and sensory design. His keynote explored texture, tactility and the way a material brings a room to life. These are the ideas our work is built on, so Tom's was definitely the right voice for this occasion.
One Address for Two Brands
House of Textures is the shared headquarters of two companies with the same drive: to keep developing interior finishes. Liquidfloors focuses on high-quality cast floors for residential and commercial projects. Odilon Creations brings high-end decorative finishes to a select network of craftspeople. Under one roof, both areas of expertise meet, so a finish can be chosen for its look as well as its feel, its nuance and its setting.
A Building with a Past and a Plan
Both companies have found their base in Park Apart, a business park created by the redevelopment of the former Bekaertstraat site, in collaboration with Hexagon. After a thorough conversion, the four-storey building stands out with its bold architecture and refined concrete textures. Liquidfloors set up the ground floor as its headquarters, with workspaces, a showroom and a striking circle at the entrance. Smart orientation and carefully considered daylight make it a vibrant place to work and create. The result honours the industrial heritage of the site while looking ahead.
An Interior You Can Feel
Everything inside follows one idea: materials are meant to be seen, touched and lived with. You notice it in every detail, from the floor underfoot to the fabrics, the furniture and the finish of each room. To complete that experience, we worked with partner brands that share our attention to quality and material feel. Curtains add softness and layering, made-to-measure carpets bring comfort and follow the lines of each space, and the designer furniture was chosen to look right while strengthening the material story. Together they form an interior conceived as one complete experience, a place where you feel what the right materials do for a space.
